The fish bit pretty good today down on the Big Sandy River. We ended up with 49 keepers and caught several throwbacks. Most of our fish came in 14 to 16 feet of water vertical jigging with Bobby Garland baby shad in the Bluegrass color.
The water color is slightly stained out toward the mouth of the bay. The farther back in Big Sandy
we went the more stained the water. There was about a foot visibility from the power lines out.
The wind is supposed to blow 10 to 15 mph tomorrow so I am going to go to Blood River. Check back tomorrow for another report or you can follow this blog and receive email updates.
